  1. If you're selling the head unit, has it been unpaired from the ecu in your car? If not then its no use to anybody mate. I'm sure some places can do it for you though.

I just pulled this straight out so am assuming it's still paired then...am sure some technical guru could remove the pairing so if someone wants to pay the postage they can have the head unit FOC :)

  5. hi guys, ive seen a few threads on here about clutch issues with slaves cylinders etc and wondered if anyone could shed some light on my current problem...

My Z is a 2009 HR and i boiled the clutch fluid at brands hatch a few weeks back. (pedal didnt return halfway through my 3rd session on track) This was the original fluid and it looked a bit black anyway so just went ahead and bled it. As soon as i loosened the bleed valve on the slave cylinder, the pedal hit the floor. Spent a long while bleeding with no success so trailiered it to a local garage to pressure bleed it for me. I hoped this may be the answer but still no joy. Apparently i need a new clutch master cylinder! Is this really likely on a 2009 with no previous clutch issues, just from trying to bleed the clutch...?

Thanks in advance for any info :)

  6. Hi guys, what is the reccomended oil for a 350z? mine is a 2009 with the HR engine. Ive got de-dats, dual cold air intake and a rev-up remap if this changes the reccomended oil to use?

The quote i got from nissan for an oil service was outrageous and as a qualified mechanic, i cant bear to part with the money!

    Thanks in advance :)

  7. ive just booked up an evening session at Brands Hatch for the 9th July! i noticed a few other guys on here do track sessions every now and then so thought id see if anyone else was planning to go along, or fancys signing up!

im taking my '09 350z and a mate is coming along in my old mx5 track car! Its always a good evening so sign up and come along :)

  8. worth it for such an epic plate ;)

I agree with mkost numberplate laws, but spacing is a stupid law, as-long as the text doesnt overlap ofcourse.

haha cheers, i totally agree with that too. ive got the legal sizes, letters, font, even got the british standard stamp...just a few spaces out.

Ive seen brand new cars off the forecourt with no space in the middle of the plate! If you cant work out Y S0 6LOW is YS06 LOW then god help us...

anyway rant over, back to the lights :)
