Hi Tom,
Get a cheap but good OBD reader from Amazon and read the errors yourself, rather than going to a garage. Possibly the camshaft or crankshaft sensors, but could be many more things. Check brake fluid level as well. Post the error codes here once you got them.

Hi,
See here:
You might also want to check if you need to replace the member stays / kidney brackets that the W links to.

Let’s make the forum / club great again! 🤣

Facebook has certainly watered down zed owners to lots of smaller groups.
Such a shame as it was superb when we had 120+ cars on stand.

Thanks a lot for organising this Andy, was good to catch up today! Sorry to hear about your CSC failure, hopefully you got home alright!
One small observation, it was a bit heartbreaking for me today after not attending this show in many years to see the Zeds scattered all over the place, rather than all (most) of us in one single club area, staying together like we used to a few years back, winning best club etc. We should all combine our efforts, both on here and on social media, to bring the community back together. I’m more than happy to contribute!
Some pics I took today.

Try getting them super hot, maybe keep the car idling at 3000rpm for 15-20 minutes or take it for a proper spirited drive before the best, 2nd - 3rd, high revs The hotter they are the more efficient they'll be.
I'm sorry to hear you had issues with them.

Got sold a 350z that “wasn’t decat” found out with mot it had test pipes.. Bought kinetix hfcs recommended by tarmac sportz and fast forward to now and it has also blew ridiculous numbers for emissions too. Going to try resetting ecu like above and hope it works for me.
Absolutely NO HFCs for 350z and 370z are guaranteed to pass MOT emissions test. ALL HFCs on the market are 200cell vs 600cell on the OEM cats, including the Kinetix.
The only workaround is to get them super hot before the test, rather than doing a cold start emission test, the feedback we get from customers with TORQEN HFCs is that they always pass, even on 5-6 years old HFCs.We just finished the existing batch and the ones the factory is working on now will be 300cell which should help a lot passing MOT while not compromising much on performance.

Great guide, well written, short and precise not over-welming in anyway for someone who has little to no knowledge about these cars
Thanks Lewis! I've added 2 more paragraphs about tuning and recommended garages.
