  1. Yay,finally get to see the picture of the finished car! Saw the guys working on it last night. Currently in my hotel room in Jerez, totally ruined. Got up at 3.45 yesterday morning, and was at the track till 11pm. My work partner is on day shift and was up at 6am to go in this morning after doing the same hours as me. Must say,the Merc is probably the most elegant out of the bunch so far. Really hate the donkey d1ck noses, hope they can change the regs for next year to get rid of them.

According to the Mclaren site, even without a new title sponsor, they've got the biggest budget that they've had for a long while. They better have used it effectively is all I can say! They're just round the corner from where I live and their sign hasn't been red for a long while!

Does it even still work? lol

  3. On my first every track day at Bedford, I spent the morning with the TC on, as I wanted to learn the track and go at my own pace with a safety net. By lunch the TC was off, and I was pushing alot more. I went on my own to that one, and I think was better for it. If you go with others, you always try to race them and out do each other, no matter what car they are in.

  4. I got the Eibach ARB's on mine, and love them, great upgrade over standard. Set mine to the softest on the front, and middle for the rear, but hardest all round for track days, and its amazing. The hardest settings are too harsh for long distance and normal roads. (Inside wheel lifts too easily).

Car looks good, really like that colour , looks like a touch of brown in some of the photos.

  5. Me and Doug from the site did a drift day through MSV at Oulton Park, and it was amazing. Almost zero wear on the tyres, and only used half a tank of fuel. I have done a couple of track days at Bedord as well, and have to say that both gave the same buzz. The only problem is that the drift day gets your car filthy, and I mean totally caked. But its a good excuse to detail the car after. Bedford is a great track, the best is the GT circuit, 4.1 miles, and a great mix of corners and straights. The West circuit is a little tight for the Zed, more suited to lighter more nimble cars I feel, but still challenging. At a full day on the GT track, it was a tank of fuel.
