I was a member on here years ago!  I had a 2004 Coupe and I've recently bought myself another.

It's a 2006 GT Roadster and I love it! - It's probably belonged to someone else on here.  I've had it almost a year, started as my weekend toy but has become my daily this year due to a change of job.

More or less completely standard but I'm thinking of going boost... still a bit unsure.

I’ve kept an eye on 350/370s ever since in the hope of owning one again but would love to buy back the exact one I sold, if I can find it.

The reg is SV54 GFK. I won’t share the location I sold from as the current owner may not want that (plus 9 years is a long time and it could be anywhere!). I can see that it’s currently SORNd but that’s it.

I hope I can find it but if not, I’ll keep looking here for a 370z in the coming months.

I have just purchased a 2011 370z so wanted to say hi! This has been a dream car and so chuffed I now have one since late December 2025. Unfortunately, I would love to say how great the experience has been but I have not been able to drive it as yet due to the clutch being on the floor. I had the CSC changed and new clutch by Kaizer Motors but clutch reservoir is now empty again and clutch pedal sticking. Hey ho, I hope it can be fixed soon so I can drive it and enjoy it.

My name is Adam, i am an old volvo fanatic and i am  currently doing a little youtube documentary/series about my ole volvo 242 that has seen it's first daylight rays in may of 1981....

Now... You might think, how a volvo 242 is in any way related to the nissan 350z? Oh, here it goes...

My plan is to implement the whole rear running gear of a 350z into my 242, where the solid axle originally was. So there we go, now you know.

Ive joined because the G37X shares the same engine and probably other things as well. 
I’ve been into fast Nissan’s for a while. 

Pretty damn chuffed as its convertible, blue, fast and very cheap.  God's were shining as managed to get it  for £2500 and was convinced I'd have to bosh a shed load into it as hadn't been motd or used since 2014.  As it happens it's just passed MOT TODAY the day after I bought it and  with only advisory being the flex in exhaust so will soon wrap and bubble gum this up. 

It's totally box fresh, 2 owner (last owner crying cos I stole it) 61,000 miles, fsh, completely unmolested-standard with zero rust, couple stone chips on bonnet and an easy weensy scratch on rear bumper. 

Blummin thing is overheating due to cooling fans not working so whipping them off in the morn for a strip down and rebuild in my lunch hour lol. 

Quick question,  heard plenum and throttle body spacers,  cheeky performance panel filter, even cheekier decat n full exhaust wrap followed by a tickle of the frontal lobe via the local brain surgeon can squeeze a shade over 300bhp on a good day (with freezer blocks under the panel filter lol). 

Really don't wanna go down the butcher mod route and get silly bit would be nice to give it a subtle tickle and the illusion of being unmolested with an extra 15bhp or so. 

I'm guessing you guys in here will soon put me straight if I'm pishing in the wind and farting in the face of purity so all berations welcomed with aplomb.

I am now the proud owner of a Nissan Fairlady z, my most expensive paperweight so far. I bought the car after an auto electrician stated all it needed was a 'master key'. Wow how simple could it be, roll on the car locksmith. He arrived to find that the transponder chip had not only left the building but also the key so it would have cranked forever without a spark of life.

It turns out that he cannot program a transponder chip on a JDM car, different BCM apparently from US and UK markets. I know there is Horsham Developments who can 'remove' the immobiliser from the ECU however I would be struggling to insure the car if this is done.

There are second hand BCM's on eBay and I'm wondering if replacing my Japanese one for a UK one would work or is it paired to the ECU.

Last resort is Nissan UK as I don't really fancy taken out a second mortgage and I don't know how helpful they would be anyway.

I would appreciate any advice regarding the BCM replacement option. Obviously a matching transponder chip with the BCM would be ideal.

I’ve been driving my 350Z for quite a while now, but I’ve just realised I never actually introduced myself here in the introduction section!

You can actually find my car thread over in the Wanted section — I bought the car thanks to this very forum.

It’s a 2006 RevUp model, and when I bought it, it had around 73,000 miles on the clock. Two years later, it’s now sitting at roughly 79,000 miles.

I wanted to share a bit about what’s been done to the car — both what it already had when I bought it and the modifications I’ve added since.

When I bought it, the car already had:

• Japan Racing JR5 Wheels

• ISR Catback Single Exit Exhaust

• ARC Air Intake System

• Nismo Style Front Lip

After driving it in this setup for quite some time, I decided to start making the updates I’d always dreamed of. There’s a long list in my head, but I’ll just share what I’ve done so far.

It’s a bit of a story, so here goes…

When I first got the car, it already had a Nismo-style front lip. Personally, I didn’t love the look with just the front lip — it felt incomplete. So the first thing I did was order a set of side skirts from Tarmac Sportz and had them fitted. In my opinion, the car’s stance completely changed — it looked so much more balanced. Without the skirts, it really did look too plain.

Of course, with the new side skirts and front lip, the rear end started to look a bit empty. I’ve always loved the 380RS body kit, so after a lot of searching, I ordered a Nismo V3-style spoiler, again from Tarmac Sportz. Once fitted, it looked great — but it made me realise the rear spats needed updating too.

So I went back to Tarmac Sportz and ordered a set of Nismo N1-style rear spats, which really tied everything together in terms of the body kit. For now, that was the exterior just how I wanted it.

After another good stretch of driving, I started to feel that the car’s sound wasn’t quite doing it for me anymore. It still had the stock catalytic converters, so it was time for a decat. After some research, I decided to go for Berk Technology decats, which I thought would pair nicely with my ISR Single Exit exhaust. Once fitted — that raspy, aggressive tone was exactly what I’d been looking for.

I’ve never been a fan of the DE bonnet design, so I thought I’d upgrade to an HR bonnet. One thing led to another, and during the Black Friday sales I found myself ordering a Seibon carbon HR-style bonnet — couldn’t resist the deal!

That’s everything I’ve done so far, but I’ve got a long list of future plans. Next up, I’m looking at getting carbon front fenders, because I just can’t resist a bit of carbon.

Super exited to finally be a part of this community as a very long time lurker. Finally got my dream car, a 2004 Sunset Orange 350z.

This is also the car featured on the 'Road and Race' youtube channel as an added bonus so it has a couple bits done to it, and im exited to document the rest of the cars journey.

Thought I'd drop a message as this is my first post on the forum having just bought a 370z GT Ultimate. Not my first Z experience though, I've been the owner of 3 300zxTT's in the past and I was going to buy another but couldn't find one in the right condition for reasonable money, then the 370z popped up, so here I am. 

Got my 350Z convertible about a month ago now, very new to ownership and my first Z car. The car has a few issues, biggest issue with the car is that it struggles to start, particularly when the car is warm. Fuel pump has been replaced, the VVT solenoids have been replaced on both sides to no avail. I’ve cleaned the throttle body and it’s had fuel cleaner put through it. Due to go into the garage on June 30th for further investigation. The belts are going to be replaced when it’s in also but we are thinking it could be the crankshaft sensor, hopefully it’s not anything too serious as when the cars running it runs completely fine. 
 

Once the cars sorted I hope to replaced the convertible top and possibly add a spoiler but we’ll see.

Just to introduce myself as i'm new to this forum.  Although i live in SE London I bought my 350 on e bay from the Isle of White where it had lain as an abandoned project for a few years.  It's a Sunset / Orange leather Manual UK GT. 

When it arrived it looked as it did in the e bay pics, truly awful, but in actual fact once it had been mopped a good few times it started to look quite good aside from the rear foot of rotten sills, which in my mind was balanced by really good arches with all spot welds still visible and rust free. 

Dived into this with my old mate Graham who is a true welding Star, and followed his old adage keep cutting until you hit solid steel then weld your way back out ..... then stripped all the old underseal off with a blowtorch ......& folllowing healing time for all the burns,  then re coated with etch primer& Gravitex Grey, added  the obigatory new Kidney's W Brace and front brace, threw in G Teck subframe collars, and numerous other parts, stirred thoroughly and finally 11 months on from buying it arrived at a new MOT, only for the engine to let go with a wonderful rendition of " Knock Knock Knockin of heavens door " on the way back from the MOT. 

Now awaiting arrival of a rev up Convertible ( again e bay ) which should be here tomorrow from Darkest Cornwall which is to be my engine donor. 

Guess all the above is a familiar tale to many of you who've trodden this path of automotive torture so it just remains for me to say " Hello" and hope this forum turns out to be as entertaining and hellpful as the good old E30 Zone was back in the day.

For reference, I had a Kuro with tan interior that I sold to Paul thats still on here I think, that he modified! I then had an UY GT4 with Nismo kit which I honestly felt like was the pinnacle of motoring!! I can remember hankering to a set of Nismo wheels more than I wanted an actual child and a Nismo Zorst!!! Great days!!

Been wanted a Z for years and finally pulled the trigger. Nice low mileage, bone stock (apart from exhaust) example, absolute hoot to drive. 

It was cheap, and I knew I would have a few jobs to do which I was actually looking forward too. Until I took the covers off the kidney braces and the side skirts 🤢

Looks like she'll be parked up for a while. 

Just picked up my completely stock 08 HR, midnight blue, 350z with 58k miles on the clock. 
 

I, in fact, had a similar 08 HR about 6 years ago but sold it when the kids came along.
