	Right, so after having the nismo for a few weeks I’ve arrived at the conclusion that the nismo oem suspension is bloody hard! <span class="ipsEmoji">😂</span> On my last z, which was a 350z HR, I ran Meister R coilovers and I swear the nismo oem suspension is far stiffer. Either that or I’m getting older <span class="ipsEmoji">😂</span>. Can anyone confirm for me whether a set of coilovers can improve the road comfort of the nismo? There’s a lot of b roads round me and it’s struggling a bit. Any advice?

<p>
	Apologies if this is in the wrong section!

<p>

</p>

<p>
	I have possibly lined up a replacement rear subframe cross brace  as mine are starting to show their age and are getting crusty and horrible.
</p>

<p>
	Massively open question, but how much of a PITA job are these too replace? Read some horror stories in the US of people droping wings/bumpers when trying to swap out but I don't really understand how!

<p>

<p>
	If its a massive ballache I'll most likely treat my current ones as they sit on the car as best as possible.

	Have done DIY jobs before and have variety of tools for it, but it'd be a solo act and on drive up plastic ramps.

	Hi All,
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	I recently took ownership of a 2010 370Z Sportster which on inspection seems to have been set up for Drift/Track in the past. No complaints from me but I need to replace the drag links and the existing seem to be fully adjustable with Rose Joints. There is a Whiteline Front and Rear Anti Roll bar set up on it but I cannot find any Whiteline adjustable links with the Rose Joint? Does anyone have any idea where I can source some good quality links that will do the job? The handling is superb and I don't want to compromise if possible.
</p>

<p>

<p>
	Yes I know a sportster fully loaded with drift tech is a bit weird but I bought this as is <span><img alt=":)" data-emoticon="" height="20" src="https://www.350z-uk.com/uploads/emoticons/default_smile.gif" srcset="https://www.350z-uk.com/uploads/emoticons/smile@2x.png 2x" title=":)" width="20" /></span>

	Bit of a random one, but does anyone know what the eibach 25mm lowering springs stiffness ratings are by any chance? I emailed couple companies selling them, but they didn't seem to know bar, how much they lowered the car, and how much. Only asking, as I'm able to order front coilovers seperately, and not sure what stiffness I need to order to suit the eibach rears that I'm keeping on the car. Thanks in advance.

	Hi folks,
</p>

<p>
	Slowing tickling my new to me 370z to the way I want her, and now the new low offset wheels have arrived, I've realised I don't like the nose heavy look of the eibach 20mm lowering springs, now the 20" gtrs are off the car. I presently run bc coilovers on my daily mx5, and the mx5 before it, so want to fit coilovers onto the 370z. Now when checking this suspension page, any coilover reviews are quite old now, so after seeing all the options on Tarmac's site, I'm hoping someone can give me their opinions on the up to date coilover options, recently fitted?
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	I see Tarmac are doing <span>:</span>
</p>

<p>
	<span>1. BC coilovers 10kg F / 8kg R  or  12kg F / 10kg R options. Anyone running the harder option?</span>
</p>

<p>
	<span>2. HSD 11kg F / 10kg R</span>
</p>

<p>
	<span>3. Tein Flex Z 14kg F / 12kg R</span>
</p>

<p>

<p>

<p>
	Are these the bushings in the lower arm perhaps? do they usually get changed or a new lower arm is required if this is the problem?

	Hi,
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Just wondering if anyone has had issues with the top of their upper control arms hitting the inside of the suspension turrets? Mine has started to tap the inside of the turret over bigger bumps in the road.

	Here's mine currently (not under compression) :

	I have seen some cars over in Japan with RK Racing shortened knuckles but i cannot seem to find anywhere that will stock these!

<p>
	I've considered having my stock knuckles shortened but I'm yet to find anywhere local to me that can do this.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Just wondering what other people have done to combat this? and yes, i know i could just raise the car a bit but i just love the look of it and it drives perfectly other than this knock.

	Hi everyone, firstly I just wanted to say hello, and thank you!
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	New proud owner of my first 370Z and loving it, previously I've always owned Alfa's for many years and just taken my Brera off the road and into storage while I scratch my itch of moving over to the Z club. I've only had the car 2 weeks, but forums and DIY guides I've taken from here have already been a god send, so thanks to everyone who takes the time to contribute, you've no idea how much it helps a new owner like myself out.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Over the weekend I gave the car a good service, oil, filters, plugs, coolant change, pads and brake fluid, as well as fitting some Eibach lowering springs (5 times easier than lowering an Alfa!!)
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	The car looks great, just the stance I was after, and feels good on the road, the only issue I have, is a slight rubbing/scraping, pretty sure from the rear end. The Eibach's have a drop of 20/25, so not ridiculous, I have 19" rays with the standard tyre size. on inspection, there appears to be sufficient clearance all around, and looking with a touch, I cant see any evidence of where it might be catching?
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	The only thing I could potentially see as the possible cause is behind the drivers side rear wheel, the petrol filling inlet has a plastic housing which looks like the closest thing to the tyre, just wondered if anyone has heard of this being an issue previously, I know others successfully lower their Z's more than mine. I wondered whether a pair of 15mm wheel spacers on the rear might help be bringing the tyre out slightly, but I don't want to get too close to the wheel arch and cause another issue.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Any thoughts or previous experience would be very much appreciated,
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Thanks guys,
</p>

<p>
	As we all do, I'm loving the speed, sound and cornering of the 370Z. It's loads of fun and something that keeps me within my limits.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	However I've been getting a little annoyed with the wheel hopping and terrible off the line feel of the car. Too much power to plant down onto the road, or so I thought. From my YouTubing and foruming, it looks as though my best bet is to sort the differential and sub frame bushings out.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	The recent posts about Z1 collars for the subframe being available in the UK have got me wondering on what the best way forward is?
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	1. Do I get Z1 bushing collars or remove the subframe and replace the entire bushing?
</p>

<p>
	2. Do I replace the diff with Whiteline polyurethane bushes or try another brand?
</p>

<p>
	3. Is this work I can do myself or will I need to go to a garage?
</p>

<p>
	4. How much have people paid in the past (either street or track setups) to reduce the wheel hop?
</p>

	As my wife's 370Z roadster is her daily drive but she's also a petrol head, when we sorted out the body kit, skirts, spats and lip, it would obviously need dropping to reduce that arch gap.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	I looked at the option and went with some springs:
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	<a href="https://www.torqen.uk/nissan/370z/suspension/springs-shocks/1382-370z-rs-r-down-sus-lowering-springs-n134d.html" rel="external nofollow">https://www.torqen.uk/nissan/370z/suspension/springs-shocks/1382-370z-rs-r-down-sus-lowering-springs-n134d.html</a>
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	This way we get keep reasonable ground clearance and comfort.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Having run various coilovers on various cars over the years, HSDs, BCs and with KW3s on my 370z, I wasn't expecting much.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	But I must say I was surprised how much it just tightened up the car and made it feel less GT and more nimble/planted.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Definitely recommend these if you want a compromise and it's a daily, they really only lose out to the coilovers when your driving really hard.
</p>

<p>
	Guys and Girls....   Further to my post  in the Newbies section ,regarding wanting a Nismo 16 plate onwards but having a medical condition that might rule it out....  Can I ask is the 370 Gt suspension a lot more forgiving than the the Nismo...….   If so is it possible to run a Nismo with GT suspension instead to get round the problem ?
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Of course I realise this goes against the grain but just wondering if the 2 differ a lot in ride quality.

<p>
	Hi All, I have a conundrum that I can’t figure out and need some expert advice! I got my zed about 2 years ago, 85k miles with standard suspension. It came with 30mm spacers on the front and 40mm spacers on the rear. A bit wide for me, but there was never any rubbing so I have left them until now.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	A few months ago and about 10k miles since I bought it, I started hearing a faint rubbing from the rear right wheel when going over bumps on the motorway - nothing from the left.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	I figured the shocks / springs had finally given up so changed to Tein s springs and Bilstein b6s as I know a lot of you on the forum have - I wasn’t interested in significant lowering.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Unfortunately the rubbing is still there - still only on the right. As a temp fix I have taken the rear spacers off and it is fine now. I will be changing to narrower spacers but want to fix the underlying issue. Any ideas what the issue could be???
</p>

<p>
	Hi all,
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Just wondering if anyone can shed any light on any true coilovers kits for the 370z that are worth considering?
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Ive got BC BRs with custom spring rates at the minute and want to move over to true coilovers so that I can get adjustable toe arms for the rear as well as installing a stanceparts air cup kit front and rear.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	I'm aiming for relatively high spring rates so I may end up swapping the stock springs to custom springs depending on what comes as standard with the new coilovers. They'll need to be slightly shorter with helper springs to accommodate the air cup kit anyway!
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	At the minute I'm considering the K Sport coilovers <a href="https://www.torqen.uk/nissan/370z/suspension/coilovers/1361-370z-ksport-kontrol-pro-true-coilover-kit-cns340-kp.html" rel="external nofollow">https://www.torqen.uk/nissan/370z/suspension/coilovers/1361-370z-ksport-kontrol-pro-true-coilover-kit-cns340-kp.html</a>
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Or ISC coilovers <a href="https://www.torqen.uk/nissan/370z/suspension/coilovers/10246-370z-isc-suspension-street-sport-series-n1-coilover-n029-s.html" rel="external nofollow">https://www.torqen.uk/nissan/370z/suspension/coilovers/10246-370z-isc-suspension-street-sport-series-n1-coilover-n029-s.html</a>
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Ive also been considering Scale Suspension but I'm not too sure if I fancy paying the shipping and import tax... <a href="https://scalesuspension.com/shop/en/nissan/272-nissan-370z-09-z34-innovative-series.html#/lock_ring_color-blue/custom_springs_color-original_color" rel="external nofollow">https://scalesuspension.com/shop/en/nissan/272-nissan-370z-09-z34-innovative-series.html#/lock_ring_color-blue/custom_springs_color-original_color</a>
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Any advice or comments from people with experience with either would be awesome!
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Cheers
</p>
