Bit of an odd one, I am absolutely loving the car but the steering wheel and height/positioning of the seat mean whenever I make sharp turns or want to rotate the wheel fully I will inevitably come in contact with my legs - I'm 6'3 and while it's not a major issue it has got me thinking of anyone else thats tall and has driven one, did you change your wheel? are there other recommendations? Thank you!

I then saw that Nengun were starting to get new Z parts, and contacted them to see if they could get the part. A day later they came back to say they could and what the price was. Order placed and then the wait for them to get it in stock and to send it to me. 
 

Finally received it during the week and then had some time to install it today. Getting the old shift knob off was a job and a half. Even following all the tips on YouTube, still ended up destroying the old one. 
 

Anyways, enough waffle, a pic of the new Z shift knob installed in my 370Z Nismo. 

I nearly put front seats haha. 

Pictures are crap but seats  are very  good. 

Selling as when I sell it long time yet I will not swop everything back to stock. £250.

Also selling 370z coup drivers seat very good for spares no heated seat equipment but airbag still in tact. Plus seat adjustment  

£100. I've missed headrest for the coup

By the way when I do sell what you see is what you'll get this will be a bargain to someone

Has anyone retro-fitted one before?

It looks like you can buy them for other Nissans (eg Nivara) and they have the same screen mount - so would just need connecting up. Is it that simple?

Found a real nice set of Cobra Misano seats and was looking in to the fitting process. These are base mounted and wondered if there were any off the shelf bases that would fix the seats straight to the 370z as I can't find much at all! 

Any help would be appreciated!

1. Anyone who has fitted Braum's, what are they like for comfort and wear?

2. If you use the Planted floor brackets to mount the Braum seats, are you now sitting higher or lower than the std nissan seats?

I have been toying with the idea of having an oil pressure gauge for some time now particularly since the timing cover gasket weakness is now a well known issue and one of the signs is low oil pressure My only problem was where to mount such a gauge with out it looking like a mess !

So When my oil cooler was found to be leaking on my recent service it bothered me that if the leak had been catastrophic instead of minor i would not have realised the problem was there until the low pressure red light appeared on the dash at which point it is too late, so my search for a solution began.

By chance i came across an old post on the American forum about a chap in Canada fabricating new A pillars to a very high standard to facilitate gauges, the solution is perfect ( if not cheap ) for any one who wants an extra gauge or two that look to be OEM fitted. The pictures show LHD but he will make RHD as well.

As per the later post, the supplier has been very helpful and offered softer springs to try, so I'll let eveyone know how they work.

They arrived yesterday, well made plastic printed product, rubber boot for contact point, good spring, so I fitted them.

Then removed them.

They do not compress sufficiently and cause a slight bend in the bootlid.

This is most visible around the angle where the boot meets the rear lights.

Although they do work, they need further development, I have been in touch with the maker and asked for a refund and suggested they alter the spring.

So, after refitting the original Nissan popper, the uprated ones, I removed the rear bootlid trim and took out the weight.

This fixed my problem anyway, so for anyone who has the boot not popping problem, take the boot weight out first.

I'll post at the end with results of the refund request.

I've already bought the Nissan OEM "uprated" ones and they worked for a short time, I've got uprated struts but haven't yet taken out the big weight.

I installed a new carbon fiber steering wheel on my 370z. Everything is installed the way it should, but when i hook up my battery the horn keeps going.

Checked everything, but cant find out what i did wrong.

Any ideas?

3,000 miles old 370Z and the nearside (left) indicator tell tale light has failed..

Is there an easy was to replace this or do I have to remove the steering wheel and instruments?

Unfortunately I found out the hard way as this was my first nissan, found out after I bought the car that it has either had the original BOSE sub removed or just didn't come with it. So I was wondering whether I should buy the original sub or get a different one. I've seen that newer and older years have different connectors so just to clarify I have a 16 Nismo.
