Hi! Very new to this so I hope I haven’t put this in the wrong section, I’ve recently purchased a 370z that was ecutek tuned to have overrun past 4k revs, after abit of spirited driving it started to burble and pop after 4k revs but the CEL was flashing for a few seconds. After that it never came on, no ECU codes on the OBD, no loss of power or unusual noise from the engine that would indicate misfire or anything. Runs smooth. I know the point of an overrun tune is to cause a slight misfire for the excess fuel but stressing slightly, Am I okay? Was the CEL flash due to the overrun and or there actually a problem? Turned the overrun tune off straight away😂

hi guys i have a few questions. one being after installing some CAIs do you recommend installing bumper vents to help with the cold air intakes or not bother? (i live in england so weather is terrible and i dont daily it as i work away so i only drive it on weekends and meets). i also have a invidia gemini cat back installed and was wondering if i should get some high flow cats and then do stage 2 remap? also will high flow cats make it alot louder as im happy with the cat back as is and i dont want it to be too loud and dont want to get pulled over for loud exhaust?

its not remapped or anything atm but im planning on getting it remapped i have just done CAIs, cat back and some minor exterior mods (spoiler, handles, wheels)

also if you recommend bumper vents anyone know where to get unpainted or gloss black ones? i can only find carbon fiber ones

	Hi all,

I fully appreciate that this topic has been around the houses many times, and I have reviewed a number of forum conversations on it. However I am thinking of installing some air filters on my 370 Nismo and potentially going for an Invidia Gemini V2 cat-back exhaust followed by an Ecutek at some point. I am not interested in max power gains on an NA, more driveability and a slightly better engine note.

I think CAI is a step too far and I have read varying degrees of success on them other than the engine bling factor (please let me know if this is misguided). I am not really sure how much of an issue heat soak is on the 370 Nismo either which would be the only reason I would consider CAI.

Anyone have experience on air filters (and / or the exhaust) and be able to advise on recommended products? My normal go to is K&N or BMC for air filters.

	Thanks in advance 🙂

I don't really want to go down the TT route due to the expense. I was thinking a larger supercharger. Due to the current set up would it be a case of installing a larger supercharger capable of creating more boost? Or will I need to start from scratch with a new set up?

So I'm looking to replace my brakes in the not too distant future and plan on 'upgrading' at the same time.

Does anyone run these EBCs on their 370Z, I'm interested in how these perform over standard (non-grooved) discs or opinions on quality of these in comparison to the likes of StopTech.

Also I'd be interested on opinions of how noisy these are.

For context I use my Zed occasionally for work (generally a few times a month but tends to be longer distances when I do i.e. 100 - 300 mile trips) and for leisure purposes. I'm not ruling out track days in the future, but have not used it on track yet.

Hi, I’ve been in touch with Abbey re getting my 2017 370Z nismo ecutek tuned but I’m unsure which mods I should go for prior to the remap.

Induction wise I’m fitting k&n drop ins and ISR air intake hoses today (thanks Torqen). Not interested in CAI.

Exhaust wise I have stock cats and Torqen short tails which I love the sound of.

My original plan was to add in some high flow cats but I’m very concerned they will make the car too loud (it’s my daily driver).

Abbey recommended I put the stock nismo exhaust back on and add some hfc, however, I’ve listened to vids on YouTube and do not like the sound of this combo, plus the stock exhaust looks crap.

	So, options are:

	1. Just add in hfc’s and risk it being too loud. Advantages presumed would be more BHP when remapped.

	2. Bite the bullet and get a proper cat back exhaust and hfc’s

	3. Just get the car remapped as is (k&n drop ins, ISR intake hose, Torqen short tails.

Exhaust wise I like the sound of Invidia, aFe Takeda and Ark Grip but I understand the grip doesn’t fit the nismo?

Im a bit confused.com as to what I should go for; any advice, tips, suggestions are very welcome.

I guess fitting hfc’s would give me BHP gain but power is not an absolute priority. I want the car to sound good and enjoy the benefits of the ecutek remap.

Just a quick one, I replaced the air intakes pipes on my 2009 370Z over the weekend and fitted some silicone intake tubes, cant say I've noticed any difference in performance or sound, but hey ho, it kept me out of trouble for 45 mins.

The passenger side intake hose had an additional chamber (as per the photo), which the replacement silicone upgrade didn't accommodate for.

I was definitely thinking of installing the 370z ZSpeed CMAK Clutch Movement Alteration Kit CSC Delete but I am not sure what clutch kit to go with as I want a light weight flywheel too and don't want a super heavy clutch. Has anyone had a 370z JWT Jim Wolf Technology flywheel and clutch kit - 14lb light flywheel fitted or is there anything better? Any suggestions would be great thanks.

I’m getting the the ECUTEK remap done on my 370z in the next couple of weeks and I’ve had look at getting the Bluetooth dongle as well but it seems a VERY steep price For something that basically just plugs into the car so you can use your phone...

Is there, or does anyone know of aftermarket Bluetooth dongles that you would be able to use in conjunction with the Ecutek? Thanks in advance

	Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has any experience and/or recommendations when it comes to 2-piece discs for their Akebono's?

Having had a look online I can see a few decent options but the prices seem to be through the roof in a few cases.

The Z1 kit looks to be a fairly reasonable price coming in at a little over $1000 or so for 4 discs but I can't seem to find anything in the UK that can come close to that price. More than happy to import them as I figure the total after postage and import tax will probably be around £1200. The Torqen 2-piece discs look to be pretty good as well but I can't seem to find a price for those on the website strangely. Are they still available for purchase? @Adrian@TORQEN

Realistically I don't want to be spending much over the £1100-1200 mark as anything over that and I may as well just buy a K-Sport brake kit at £2.5k as that will include the discs as well as new callipers and I can then no doubt recoup some of that cost by selling my Akebono's, pads and discs.

Any information would be greatly appreciated. And before anyone says, I know that I do not 'need' to upgrade to 2-piece discs, neither do I 'need' the K-Sport kit as the car isn't tracked. It is purely for the fact that I'm powder coating my callipers soon and would like to do something with the bells of the discs as well. Ridiculous I know But it should look pretty interesting when complete.
