  2. So, after my 10th consecutive year of Zed ownership passed by last year, I thought it was about time to start a build thread to document at least some of what I've been up to with my Zed during my ownership. Since the beginning, I've always wanted any changes or improvements made to seamlessly blend into and compliment the rest of the car, with the aim of an 'OEM+' style (so I have been known to be quite particular with my build to say the least!) whilst at the same time, doing my best to keep on top of any issues and make sure it is maintained to the highest standard. Anyway, to get the ball rolling, here is a picture of my Zed from a few years ago and I will begin to add some updates to this thread shortly!
  3. Whilst a ground loop isolator can be useful where a grounding issue or electrical interference/noise is to blame, in my case it a ground loop isolator would not fix the issue. I did test for this initially, but because the white noise could still be heard with the engine off, and the white noise would never change in terms of pitch or frequency whilst running the engine and revving, I ruled this out. In my case the issue was clearly a symptom of excessive gain levels to the speakers from both the headunit amp and Bose amp, which only a line output converter can reduce. That said, a ground loop isolator is still a good suggestion for anyone else reading this who happens to have symptoms that align with a grounding issue, rather than what I experienced ๐Ÿ‘

  5. Welcome to the forum, that's a gorgeous 370 you've got there ๐Ÿ‘
  6. To be sure best to ask the seller/agent/ exporter for some images. However , I would think that you will have to replace the infotainment system with a UK version including the nav. or use Tom Tom or Google maps.
  7. Lovely motor mate. I'm currently in talks to import a Z to the UK, can I just ask about the interior, is the infotainment in Japanese? Do you have any interior pics of the dash/centre console? I'm about ready to pull the trigger but want to know if i'm going to need to replace the infotainment for an aftermarket piece.
  8. Hi and welcome along buddy. I have had 1 of these and I put on the Tarmacsportz short tails. It sounded lovely, not over loud but very nice when on the throttle. If you can post a sound clip of yours. Lets have a listen. I will see if I still have a sound clip of mine. Lovely looking car by the way!

  13. Hi, Can anyone please confirm what options there are online for both front lower (left and right) arms? Currently I've seen: https://www.tarmacsportz.co.uk/genuine-nissan-370z-09-20-front-lower-control-arm-assembly.html https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/265165660857 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/256269529951 https://www.autodoc.co.uk/delphi/23928896 https://www.autodoc.co.uk/delphi/23928895 Thanks.

  15. 2nd is tremendous pal, great going ๐Ÿ† I like your hypothesis and would definitely try swapping back to the OEM gear shifter setup.

  17. Nice meet up ..... I miss them
  18. Let me guess ๐Ÿค” coil pack?
  19. Ohlins are out of budget I'm afraid. Got the car back earlier this week and went for the Meister Rs. Really happy with them, rides really well. I typical fashion though, a coil pack failed on the way home. Ones been a little suspect for a while now and it's finally died. Guess I know what I'm doing tomorrow!
  20. Pics from last weekends club meet. One lad had his 350z for 8yrs and this was his first Z gathering, brilliant feeling being able to bring like minded folks together. On route to lunch, yes I got lost also

  22. For sale is my 1992 Nissan Sunny 1.4 5dr LX I've owned this car for 11 years, very much cared for example. Completely standard apart from radio, wheels and suspension. Price ยฃ1495 Key Information: - 77k - MOT due 03/2027 - 2 keys - 1.4 16v petrol - 5sp manual - Electric windows front and rear - Electric sunroof - Previous owners 5, between 2 families - 15yrs then 8yrs, before my 11yrs Other Information: - Nissan Almera GTi alloys - Nissan Almera GTi lowering springs - Continental EcoContact 5 tyres all round - Pioneer head unit, comes with original radio - Oil and filter changed every 3k, including fuel and air filters, spark plugs and coolant change at the last service - Vehicle is fully undersealed - Replaced within last 10k, full exhaust system, steering gaiter N/S, coolant and brake fluid, shock absorbers front and rear, front pads. Drives absolutely spot on, light steering, great visibility, easy to park. Cheap to tax and insure. Very reliable GA14 chain driven engine. Used as a daily driver for years and years, not a garage queen by any means and so is priced fairly. Car always gets loads of positive attention at meets and shows, actually more than my 350z. Ready for its new owner to enjoy. West Midlands B33 area. Feel to message me on here or FB messenger.

  24. Yeah, thats the next step. Just thought I would try this first.
  25. You can buy universal 2" and 3" velocity stacks on ebay, I'm sure you can figure out how to make them fit an airbox.
  26. Hi and welcome ๐Ÿ˜
  27. Welcome mate! ๐Ÿ‘
  28. Hi guys, I joined the Z club today when I picked myself up an almost stock and pretty rust free 350z earlier today. I'm not really planning on doing much with it other than getting it serviced and undersealed so it'll survive the typical Scottish winters. If the weather's decent next weekend I'll probably break out the DA polisher and give it a good going over with a couple of different grades of compound before giving it a couple of coats of Chemical Guys Jet Seal to make sure it's nice and shiny.
