Blow Off Valve With Procharger (Tutorial)

Here is a simple and cool mod I did on my ATI supercharger kit..

Parts and Tools

• Turbo XS H34 Blow off valve
• tube of black silicone
• flat head screwdriver
• cutting tool

Procedure

[edit] 1 First remove the brass surge valve from the ATI kit and all hoses.Using an EXPANDING plug like the one pictured, plug the silver piping on the elbow of the air intake tube.	[edit] 2 Using a cutting tool, cut the supplied hose from ATI to a length of about 2". Fit the BOV on one end of the cut tube and tighten using the supplied hose clamps. (Use some black silicone inside of the tube where it connects to the BOV for a tight seal)
[edit] 3 Mount the other end of the hose to the original piping on the elbow prior to the intercooler like in the picture.	[edit] 4 Re-attach the vacuum line and start engine to make sure valve opens under vacuum. It will close under loaded boost conditions. The picture shows how it replaces the old brass valve...You may also want to secure the top of the BOV with wire ties and some rubber hose so it don’t vibrate on things..
